Responsibilities
- Lead development of the 2026 strategic innovation roadmap through trend analysis and market forecasting
- Architect next-generation business models leveraging AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Direct cross-functional teams in prototyping and scaling breakthrough solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with emerging tech startups and research institutions
- Present innovation frameworks to executive leadership and investors
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused allocation strategies
- Mentor junior futurists and build our internal foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record in launching disruptive products with $100M+ market impact
- Expertise in emerging technologies: generative AI, Web3, quantum computing, or neurotech
- Advanced degree in Business Strategy, Technology, or Futures Studies
- Strong network within Silicon Valley and Austin tech ecosystems
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through ambiguous transitions
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., AC/FS) preferred
- Published thought leadership in innovation or future studies
