- Develop and execute the 2026 innovation roadmap, aligning with company's 10-year vision
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and scaling next-gen technologies
- Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with research institutions and industry pioneers
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D budget through compelling investment proposals
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, bio-digital interfaces)
- Present innovation strategies to C-suite and board stakeholders quarterly
- Establish KPIs to measure long-term technological impact and ROI
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology innovation or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of launching 3+ industry-transforming initiatives
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI/ML, blockchain, quantum computing)
- Exceptional strategic planning and scenario modeling capabilities
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Experience securing $10M+ innovation budgets
- Published thought leadership in technology futurism (Harvard/MIT/Stanford)
- Fluency in Mandarin and Spanish for global partnerships
