Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 innovation strategy, aligning with long-term business objectives
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, biotech) for competitive advantage
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver prototype-to-market solutions with rapid iteration cycles
- Present innovation frameworks and strategic roadmaps to executive stakeholders and board members
- Manage a $5M+ innovation portfolio with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Foster a culture of experimentation through hackathons, incubators, and R&D partnerships
- Monitor global tech trends and regulatory shifts to inform strategic pivots
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or future-tech roles
- Proven track record of launching at least two industry-disrupting products/services
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (quantum/AI/ML/blockchain) and market adoption curves
- Executive-level communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts simply
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field
- Experience managing innovation budgets exceeding $3M and cross-functional teams of 20+
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation (patents, whitepapers, or keynotes)
