Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify and analyze emerging technologies, market shifts, and societal trends through 2030
- Develop and deliver strategic foresight frameworks for C-suite executives across multiple industries
- Design and facilitate innovation workshops that translate future scenarios into concrete business strategies
- Produce high-impact trend reports and thought leadership content for executive audiences
- Collaborate with R&D teams to integrate future-focused insights into product roadmaps
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' to prototype solutions for upcoming market disruptions
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, Innovation Management, or related field
- 7+ years in strategy consulting, innovation, or futurist role with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology adoption forecasting
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, clean energy)
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills with executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic innovation
- Experience with foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP, causal layered analysis)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or similar program)
