Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts by 2026
- Develop strategic frameworks for organizations to adapt to disruptive future scenarios
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align leadership on long-term innovation priorities
- Author forward-looking whitepapers and trend reports for industry publications
- Partner with product teams to embed future-readiness into current development cycles
- Monitor geopolitical and macroeconomic indicators affecting future business landscapes
- Build and maintain a network of futurists, technologists, and domain experts
Qualifications
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused product development
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial opportunities
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- Exceptional storytelling skills to communicate complex future scenarios
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies and trend analysis tools
- Portfolio of published future-focused research or strategic frameworks
- Fluency in Spanish or Mandarin preferred for global trend analysis
