Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive foresight research to identify emerging trends, technologies, and paradigm shifts through 2030
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for 2026 market landscapes and competitive dynamics
- Translate complex future projections into executable business strategies for product development and market entry
- Present visionary insights to executive leadership and cross-functional teams through compelling data visualizations
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, think tanks, and innovation labs to stay ahead of emerging research
- Design and implement horizon scanning methodologies to continuously update strategic foresight
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, Strategic Foresight, or related field; PhD preferred
- 8+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex future concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Experience developing long-term roadmaps for Fortune 500 or high-growth technology companies
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists) highly desirable
