Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models for long-term business resilience
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align innovation roadmaps with future market opportunities
- Author high-impact thought leadership content and executive briefings on future trends
- Advise C-suite on disruptive threats and opportunities across global markets
- Build and maintain an external network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Translate foresight insights into product development priorities and investment theses
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or trend analysis at Fortune 500 or tech scale-ups
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, systems thinking, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging tech: quantum computing, AGI ethics, biotech convergence, climate tech
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence and storytelling abilities
- Published thought leadership in futurism, technology, or business strategy (portfolio required)
- Experience with foresight tools: Delphi methods, horizon scanning, causal layered analysis
