Responsibilities
- Develop 10-year horizon scanning frameworks identifying disruptive technologies, sociocultural shifts, and market inflection points
- Produce annual '2026 Vision Reports' with actionable scenarios for C-suite decision-making
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' prototyping next-gen solutions in AI ethics, quantum computing, and neurotech
- Partner with R&D to translate foresight into patentable IP and commercialization strategies
- Deliver keynote presentations at global innovation summits (Davos, CES, etc.)
- Mentor junior strategists in horizon methodology and scenario planning
- Establish industry-wide '2026 Standards Consortium' with academic and corporate partners
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology analysis
- Published thought leadership on long-term technological disruption (Harvard Business Review/MIT Press)
- Expertise in STEEP-VL analysis and probabilistic scenario modeling
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful commercialization of futuristic concepts
- Security clearance for classified government innovation projects
- Fluency in Mandarin or Arabic (for emerging market trend analysis)
