Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and market shifts through 2026
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks for AI governance, quantum computing adoption, and climate resilience
- Produce executive-level trend briefings and scenario-planning documents for board review
- Coordinate cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and sustainability teams
- Represent the company at global futurism conferences and industry summits
- Mentor junior analysts in future-proofing methodologies and trend analysis
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years in strategic planning at Fortune 500 or tech scale-up
- Expertise in emerging tech domains: generative AI, synthetic biology, or Web3 infrastructure
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial opportunities
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIP, APF) preferred
- Published thought leadership on technological disruption or societal transformation
- Exceptional storytelling skills with data visualization capabilities
