Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for quantum computing, metaverse infrastructure, and climate tech
- Present strategic foresight reports to C-suite executives and board stakeholders quarterly
- Coordinate with 15+ global R&D labs to align innovation roadmaps with 2026 market projections
- Author white papers on emerging risks and opportunities in generative AI and neuro-interfaces
- Mentor cross-functional teams in future-proofing product development pipelines
- Partner with VC firms to evaluate frontier tech investments with 5-10 year horizons
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent with 7+ years foresight experience
- Published research on quantum computing applications or AI governance frameworks
- Proven track record in translating emerging tech trends into enterprise strategy
- Deep expertise in at least three of: biotechnology convergence, decentralized systems, or climate tech
- Proficiency in strategic foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
- Experience advising Fortune 500 boards on 2030 technology disruption scenarios
- Portfolio demonstrating successful 2020-2025 technology predictions implementation
