Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies, socioeconomic shifts, and global megatrends to develop 2026+ strategic foresight frameworks
- Design and lead scenario-planning workshops for executive leadership to visualize future business landscapes
- Produce annual '2026 Horizon Report' detailing disruptive forces and strategic implications
- Partner with R&D to incubate future-facing initiatives aligned with long-term market evolution
- Establish cross-functional innovation councils to embed future-readiness across departments
- Monitor and interpret signals from academic research, venture capital, and geopolitical developments
- Develop KPIs to measure organizational future-readiness and adaptability metrics
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Foresight, Strategic Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategy consulting, innovation, or futures research with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional communication skills for presenting complex futures to diverse stakeholders
- Published work or thought leadership in future studies or strategic innovation
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
