Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies and societal trends through 2026+
- Develop strategic frameworks for future-proofing products and services
- Produce forward-looking scenario analyses and trend impact reports
- Partner with R&D to incubate experimental technologies
- Advise executive leadership on innovation opportunities and risks
- Represent the company at global futurism conferences and thought leadership forums
- Mentor junior strategists in future methodologies and critical thinking
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Foresight, Strategic Innovation, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurism
- Proven track record of translating future trends into actionable strategies
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning capabilities
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies (Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Strong presentation skills for executive and technical audiences
