Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the 2026 strategic innovation roadmap with measurable KPIs
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, advanced AI)
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify emerging trends with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and Fortune 500 innovation labs
- Present visionary blueprints to executive stakeholders and investor boards
- Drive culture of innovation through hackathons, patent development, and thought leadership
- Oversee $15M+ innovation budget allocation and ROI optimization
Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or related field
- 8+ years experience in corporate innovation, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of launching products/services with 3+ year market impact
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, AGI, neurotech)
- Exceptional strategic planning and scenario modeling capabilities
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Experience securing innovation funding from VC or corporate ventures
- Certification in Futures Methodology (e.g., CFCS preferred)
