Responsibilities
- Analyze horizon-scan data from biotech, AI, climate tech, and space sectors to identify paradigm-shifting opportunities
- Develop 5-10 year strategic frameworks that integrate exponential technologies with human-centric design principles
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' to prototype solutions for 2026's anticipated challenges (resource scarcity, AI ethics, workforce transformation)
- Present foresight insights to investors, board members, and industry thought leaders through compelling narratives
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and policy influencers
- Translate complex scenarios into executive dashboards and decision-support tools
- Author white papers on emerging business models for the post-2025 economy
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Systems Thinking, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in strategy consulting, innovation leadership, or horizon scanning
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum, biotech, AGI, climate tech)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with experience presenting to executive audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future-focused projects with measurable impact
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFIP preferred)
- Fluency in futures forecasting tools (e.g., Delphi, STEEP, causal layered analysis)
