Responsibilities
- Analyze horizon-scanning data to identify disruptive technologies and market shifts impacting 2026
- Develop and publish annual '2026 Impact Forecast' reports with strategic recommendations
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed future-thinking into product development
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Design scenario-planning frameworks for organizational resilience in volatile markets
- Present strategic insights to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Mentor junior strategists in futures methodology and trend analysis
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning or futurism roles at Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record of translating future trends into executable business strategies
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston) required
