Responsibilities
- Analyze and synthesize global megatrends (AI, biotech, climate tech, etc.) to forecast 2026+ market landscapes
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for organizational resilience and innovation pipelines
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align leadership on future-proofing initiatives
- Produce high-impact foresight reports and trend briefings for executive decision-making
- Partner with R&D to incubate emerging technologies with 2026 commercial viability
- Represent the company at global futurist forums and industry summits
- Mentor junior strategists in advanced foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused leadership
- Proven track record of translating complex trends into executable business strategies
- Expertise in systems thinking, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of 2026-relevant domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI ethics
- Exceptional communication skills with executive audiences and diverse stakeholders
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategy publications
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFPS) preferred
