Responsibilities
- Analyze macro-trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to develop 5-year strategic scenarios
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-state opportunities
- Produce annual 'Horizon Reports' with predictive market analysis and risk assessments
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype next-generation solutions for 2026 adoption
- Establish KPIs to track strategic initiatives' impact on long-term business objectives
- Present findings to C-suite executives and board members with compelling narratives
- Mentor junior futurists on trend synthesis and scenario-planning methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, or related field
- 5+ years in strategy consulting, innovation management, or futurist analysis
- Proven track record developing multi-year strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi methods, and trend impact analysis
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling skills with experience presenting to executive audiences
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures Research preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-state projects
