Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technological roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams in prototyping breakthrough innovations with real-world applications
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government agencies
- Develop ethical frameworks for emerging technologies to ensure responsible deployment
- Present innovation blueprints to C-suite and board stakeholders for funding approval
- Monitor global tech trends and disruptors to maintain competitive advantage
- Secure $10M+ in R&D grants and venture capital for experimental projects
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or Futuristics with 8+ years in tech innovation
- Proven track record of launching at least two breakthrough technologies to market
- Expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum, nanotech, synthetic biology)
- Published author in peer-reviewed journals or industry white papers
- Experience securing $5M+ in government grants or venture capital
- Fluency in scenario planning and strategic foresight methodologies
- Strong network connections with DARPA, NSF, or global innovation hubs
