Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts by 2026
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating quantum computing, neural interfaces, and climate resilience solutions
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops with engineers, designers, and executives to align innovation priorities
- Produce scenario-planning frameworks for geopolitical and technological disruption
- Represent the company at global innovation forums and thought leadership summits
- Mentor teams in future-thinking methodologies and exponential technologies
- Drive R&D investment decisions based on 5-10 year market projections
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or emerging technology consulting
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum applications, or sustainable tech
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial products
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional presentation skills for C-suite and board-level audiences
- Published thought leadership in technology or innovation publications
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., CFTR) or equivalent
- Portfolio demonstrating successful 5+ year strategic implementations
