As a core member of our Global Futures Council, you'll collaborate with Nobel laureates, Silicon Valley pioneers, and UN policy advisors to translate cutting-edge research into actionable strategies. Your work will directly influence $2B+ in R&D investments across quantum computing, biotech convergence, and sustainable infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026+ innovation roadmaps using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional task forces of engineers, designers, and data scientists to prototype future-facing solutions
- Present strategic foresight briefings to C-suite executives and board members quarterly
- Establish partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and other future-focused institutions
- Author 'State of 2026' reports distributed to Fortune 500 leadership teams
- Mentor junior futurists through our Innovation Fellowship Program
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating emerging tech (AI, quantum, neurotech) into market-ready strategies
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed futures journals or top-tier industry publications
- Deep expertise in UN SDGs 2030 framework and sustainable development metrics
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to communicate complex futures to diverse stakeholders
- Proficiency in foresight tools (STEEP analysis, Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
