Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptors impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop predictive models and scenario-planning frameworks for C-suite decision-making
- Design innovation roadmaps integrating AI, biotech, climate tech, and quantum computing
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops translating foresight into product development priorities
- Author thought leadership publications and trend briefs positioning Nexus Horizon as an industry authority
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Measure and report on innovation ROI using forward-looking KPIs
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, Strategic Foresight, or related field
- 5+ years experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or trend analysis
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, technology adoption curves, and systems thinking
- Deep knowledge of emerging tech domains (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with ability to communicate complex futures to diverse stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or innovation frameworks
- Certification in Futures Methodology (e.g., CFM) preferred
- Experience with foresight tools (e.g., Horizon scanning software, Delphi methodology)
