Responsibilities
- Define the 2026 Technology Roadmap: Lead the strategic planning process to identify key technology trends, including AI, automation, and cloud evolution, ensuring they are integrated into our business model.
- Innovation Leadership: Spearhead R&D initiatives and pilot programs to test and validate cutting-edge technologies before full-scale deployment.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product, engineering, and marketing departments to align technical capabilities with business goals and customer needs.
- Vendor and Technology Management: Evaluate and select external technology partners and vendors, negotiating contracts that drive value and innovation.
- Risk Management: Assess potential security, compliance, and scalability risks associated with emerging tech implementations.
- Talent Development: Mentor senior engineering leaders and foster a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in strategic technology leadership, IT management, or a similar executive role.
- Proven track record of developing and executing long-term technology roadmaps (5+ year horizon).
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies, including AI, Machine Learning, Blockchain, and IoT, with a focus on 2026 trends.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business strategy.
- Experience managing budgets exceeding $1M and leading diverse, cross-functional teams.
