Nebula Protocol is a leading blockchain infrastructure company building the next generation of scalable, secure, and user-friendly DeFi applications. We are looking for a visionary Senior Web3 Engineer to join our core engineering team and help define the roadmap for our upcoming ecosystem.
In this role, you will bridge the gap between complex smart contract logic and intuitive user experiences, working on high-stakes financial infrastructure that powers millions in assets.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and audit secure smart contracts using Solidity and Rust for high-value DeFi protocols.
- Implement and optimize on-chain logic to ensure maximum efficiency and minimal gas costs across multiple EVM chains.
- Collaborate closely with the frontend team to integrate Web3 libraries (Web3.js, Ethers.js) and build seamless dApp user interfaces.
- Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and establish best practices for security and scalability.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from architectural design to deployment and post-launch monitoring.
- Research emerging trends in blockchain interoperability and zero-knowledge proofs to stay ahead of the curve.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 2 years specifically in blockchain/Web3 development.
- Deep understanding of the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) and smart contract security best practices (OWASP).
- Proficiency in Solidity and Rust, with experience in writing auditable code.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks (React, Next.js).
- Familiarity with development tools such as Hardhat, Foundry, and Git.
- Experience with DeFi protocols (AMMs, Lending, Staking) and cross-chain bridge architectures.
