Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL database schemas and stored procedures for high-volume transaction processing.
- Perform deep-dive performance tuning and troubleshooting to ensure optimal query execution speed and minimal latency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust, scalable technical database solutions.
- Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct comprehensive code reviews and mentor junior developers on best practices for SQL optimization and database management.
- Lead data migration projects and ensure seamless integration with cloud-based data warehouses.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience as a SQL Developer or Database Administrator with a focus on T-SQL, PL/pgSQL, or MySQL.
- Deep understanding of database normalization, indexing strategies, and ER modeling principles.
- Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure SQL, AWS RDS, or Google Cloud SQL) is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in ETL processes and data integration tools (e.g., SSIS, Python, or Snowflake).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in an Agile, fast-paced development environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
