Responsibilities
- Architect quantum-resistant cryptographic systems for enterprise-scale deployment
- Design fault-tolerant quantum processors using superconducting and photonic technologies
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for practical applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in translating theoretical quantum algorithms into production systems
- Research and implement quantum error correction codes for 1000+ qubit systems
- Collaborate with academic partners to publish breakthrough findings in Nature/Science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with 8+ years experience)
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor, Grover, QAOA) and quantum circuit optimization
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and simulation frameworks
- Experience with superconducting qubit systems or photonic quantum processors
- Strong background in topological quantum computing and anyonic braiding
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Security clearance preferred for government-contract work
