In this role, you will bridge the gap between theoretical quantum physics and practical machine learning applications. You will be responsible for architecting scalable quantum algorithms that solve complex optimization problems currently deemed impossible for classical computers.

Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-level quantum algorithms for machine learning and optimization tasks.
- Integrate quantum processing units (QPUs) with classical cloud infrastructure to create hybrid cloud environments.
- Develop and refine error mitigation techniques for near-term quantum devices.
- Lead architectural reviews and mentor junior engineers in quantum software development.
- Conduct research on emerging quantum hardware architectures to stay ahead of industry standards.
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field with a focus on quantum mechanics.
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years specifically in quantum computing.
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks such as Qiskit, Cirq, or Pennylane.
- Strong understanding of linear algebra, probability theory, and complex systems.
- Proven track record of publishing research or delivering production-level software solutions.
