Responsibilities
- Architect Quantum Algorithms: Design and implement complex quantum algorithms for optimization, machine learning, and cryptography to solve real-world business problems.
- Hardware-Software Integration: Develop middleware and APIs that seamlessly integrate quantum hardware with classical machine learning pipelines (NISQ devices).
- System Design: Lead the architectural design of scalable quantum cloud platforms, ensuring high availability and fault tolerance.
- Roadmap Leadership: Define the technical roadmap for our AI division, identifying emerging trends in quantum computing and AI convergence.
- Performance Tuning: Optimize quantum circuit execution times and minimize error rates in noisy intermediate-scale quantum (NISQ) environments.
- Technical Mentorship: Mentor junior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the team.
Qualifications
- Education: Ph.D. in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent years of professional experience in quantum computing.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of linear algebra, probability theory, and quantum mechanics principles.
- Programming Skills: Expert-level proficiency in Python, C++, and at least one quantum SDK (e.g., Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in AI/ML engineering with a focus on hardware acceleration or cloud computing.
- Cloud Expertise: Proven track record deploying workloads on major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Quantum)
- Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot complex quantum hardware errors and develop error mitigation strategies.
