Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Design and implement scalable backend services using Python, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and test-driven code; conduct thorough code reviews to enforce best practices.
- System Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in existing systems and refactor code to improve speed and efficiency.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and frontend developers to deliver seamless user experiences.
- Mentorship: Guide junior developers, conduct technical interviews, and foster a culture of continuous learning.
- Cloud Infrastructure: Manage deployment pipelines and collaborate with DevOps teams to maintain CI/CD workflows on AWS and Kubernetes.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on Python.
- Core Technologies: Proficiency in Django, Flask, or FastAPI frameworks.
- Databases: Deep understanding of SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) databases.
- Cloud & DevOps: Experience deploying applications to cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
