Responsibilities
- Architecture & Design: Design, develop, and maintain high-scale RESTful APIs and microservices using Node.js and TypeScript.
- Performance Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in the application stack and implement solutions to improve latency and throughput.
- Database Management: Collaborate with database administrators to optimize SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) queries and schema designs.
- DevOps & CI/CD: Integrate automated testing and deployment pipelines (Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions) to ensure code quality.
- Security: Implement security best practices and compliance standards to protect sensitive user data.
- Mentorship: Conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance to junior developers, and foster a culture of continuous learning.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on Node.js.
- Language Proficiency: Expert-level knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and modern ES6+ features.
- Frameworks: Deep experience with Express.js, NestJS, or similar frameworks.
- Database: Strong understanding of relational and non-relational database technologies.
- Cloud: Experience deploying and managing applications on AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
- Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and make architectural trade-offs.
