Responsibilities
- Backend Architecture: Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance server-side applications using Node.js and TypeScript.
- API Development: Build and optimize RESTful and GraphQL APIs to ensure seamless integration with frontend teams and third-party services.
- Database Optimization: Design efficient database schemas and optimize query performance for PostgreSQL and NoSQL solutions.
- System Design: Lead architectural decisions, code reviews, and technical strategy to ensure system reliability and scalability.
- DevOps & CI/CD: Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS to automate deployment processes.
- Mentorship: Guide junior developers, conduct code reviews, and foster a culture of knowledge sharing and technical excellence.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on Node.js and JavaScript.
- TypeScript: Proficiency in TypeScript and experience with modern ES6+ features.
- Frameworks: Strong experience with Express, NestJS, or similar frameworks.
- Database: Deep understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL) and caching technologies (Redis).
- Cloud: Experience deploying and managing applications on AWS or GCP.
- DevOps: Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code tools.
