Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Design and implement scalable, high-performance web applications using the latest Next.js 2026 specifications and React Server Components.
- Performance Optimization: Drive initiatives to improve Core Web Vitals, reduce bundle sizes, and optimize server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG) strategies.
- Code Review & Mentorship: Provide technical guidance to junior developers, conduct code reviews, and establish best practices for the engineering team.
- API Integration: Build and maintain robust RESTful and GraphQL APIs, integrating third-party services and ensuring data security.
- Future-Proofing: Evaluate emerging technologies within the Next.js 2026 ecosystem and propose innovative solutions to business challenges.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to translate requirements into technical specifications.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in web development, with a strong focus on Next.js (specifically versions 13+).
- Core Stack: Proficiency in React, TypeScript, Node.js, and Tailwind CSS.
- Architecture: Deep understanding of the Next.js App Router, Server Actions, and Edge Runtime capabilities.
- Tools: Experience with containerization (Docker), CI/CD pipelines, and version control (Git).
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with a track record of solving complex technical problems and optimizing database queries.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
