LA2026 Legacy Corp is seeking a visionary Senior Network Engineer to architect the critical IT backbone for the 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Games. This is a once-in-a-generation opportunity to design resilient, scalable, and secure network solutions that will connect millions of fans and athletes globally.
In this high-impact role, you will bridge the gap between complex legacy systems and modern cloud infrastructure, ensuring seamless connectivity across 40+ venues and operational hubs.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage the core network architecture for Olympic venues and the central command center.
- Ensure 99.999% uptime and robust security for all critical network services during the Games.
- Integrate legacy stadium systems with modern SD-WAN and edge computing solutions.
- Lead incident response teams to resolve complex network outages with minimal disruption.
- Conduct comprehensive network audits and capacity planning for post-Games legacy operations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in network engineering, preferably with large-scale event or government infrastructure.
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent advanced certification.
- Expert knowledge of routing, switching, firewalls, and VPN technologies.
- Proven experience working with hybrid cloud environments (AWS/Azure) and network virtualization.
- Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks and ISO 27001 security standards.
