Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design and implementation of Project 2026 infrastructure, ensuring scalability and fault tolerance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of data scientists and quantum physicists to translate research into production-ready code.
- Mentor and develop a high-performing engineering team, conducting code reviews and technical planning sessions.
- Optimize system performance and reduce latency in real-time data processing pipelines.
- Define technical standards and best practices for cloud-native development.
- Identify potential risks in the tech stack and propose innovative solutions to overcome them.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership or senior architect role.
- Deep expertise in Python, Go, or Rust, with experience in quantum computing frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq) preferred.
- Proven track record of designing and deploying distributed systems on AWS or Azure.
- Strong understanding of machine learning operations (MLOps) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Physics, or a related field is a plus.
