Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026 technology foresight framework using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate futuristic concepts (AI ethics, quantum computing, biotech convergence)
- Produce executive-grade strategic reports with actionable insights on emerging tech risks and opportunities
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and policy think tanks
- Design and implement corporate innovation labs focused on next-generation human-machine interfaces
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate a culture of anticipatory intelligence across the organization
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or emerging technology research
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed futures journals or industry whitepapers
- Expertise in systems thinking, scenario modeling, and disruption analysis methodologies
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into commercialized solutions
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI, and decentralized systems
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex futures to diverse stakeholders
