Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in AI ethics, quantum algorithms, and decentralized systems
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies and assess commercial viability
- Design prototyping frameworks for futuristic solutions (e.g., neural interfaces, climate AI)
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investor forums
- Mentor innovation teams in future-proofing methodologies
- Author thought leadership publications on technology evolution
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurology (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic technology roles with Fortune 500 or scale-up companies
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least 3 of: quantum computing, neuromorphic systems, climate AI, or Web3
- Published research or patents in futuristic technology domains
- Experience with scenario planning and technology impact assessment
- Strong network with academic and industry innovation leaders
