Responsibilities
- Develop 2026+ strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies including quantum AI and synthetic biology
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive market opportunities and threats
- Produce trend analysis reports for C-suite stakeholders using predictive modeling tools
- Design scenario-planning frameworks for geopolitical and technological black swan events
- Forge partnerships with academic institutions and industry pioneers to accelerate innovation
- Mentor junior futurists in forecasting methodologies and critical thinking frameworks
- Represent the company at global futurist conferences and thought leadership summits
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed futurist journals or industry whitepapers
- Proficiency in forecasting tools (e.g., Delphi method, cross-impact matrix analysis)
- Deep knowledge of emerging tech: quantum computing, AGI, climate tech, and neurotech
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful long-term strategic implementations
