You'll leverage systems thinking, scenario planning, and trend analysis to identify disruptive opportunities across biotech, AI governance, and sustainable tech ecosystems. Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, neurotech, climate AI) and forecast societal impacts through 2030
- Develop strategic scenario frameworks for C-suite clients in finance, healthcare, and manufacturing
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into R&D roadmaps and product innovation
- Author thought leadership reports published in MIT Tech Review and World Economic Forum platforms
- Build trend-sensing dashboards using proprietary AI-powered horizon-scanning tools
- Advise on ethical implications of exponential technologies and regulatory frameworks
- Mentor junior futurists through our Future Leaders program
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech policy
- Proven experience with scenario planning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: synthetic biology, decentralized AI, or climate modeling
- Published research in peer-reviewed futures journals or major industry publications
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Flourish) and trend analysis software
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to communicate complex futures to diverse stakeholders
