Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives mapping technology trajectories for 2026-2030 horizon
- Develop actionable innovation roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, and climate tech
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across 15+ emerging technology domains
- Collaborate with C-suite to align organizational strategy with future market realities
- Present future scenarios to investors, partners, and regulatory bodies
- Mentor cross-functional teams in future-proofing methodologies
- Author thought leadership publications and white papers
- Manage $2M+ annual innovation portfolio allocation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-impacting projects
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis)
- Exceptional communication skills for complex technical storytelling
- Experience presenting to executive audiences and policymakers
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals
