Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, biotech, climate tech, and quantum computing
- Develop 5-year innovation roadmaps for enterprise clients using predictive modeling
- Facilitate scenario-planning workshops with executive stakeholders
- Author thought leadership reports published in industry journals
- Manage a portfolio of emerging technology pilot programs
- Represent Nexus Horizons at global futurist conferences (Davos, Web Summit)
- Mentor junior analysts in futures research methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Expertise in STEEP (Social, Technological, Economic, Environmental, Political) analysis
- Proficiency in futures research tools (e.g., Delphi method, cross-impact matrices)
- Published portfolio of trend reports or whitepapers
- Experience advising C-suite on technology adoption strategies
- Strong visualization skills for presenting complex scenarios
- Comfort with ambiguity and rapid change environments
