Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies with 2026+ relevance
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives
- Conduct scenario planning and risk assessments for future market disruptions
- Translate foresight insights into actionable product development frameworks
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Build and maintain an external network of industry experts and thought leaders
- Author thought leadership publications on future trends and innovation strategy
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology, Business Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in innovation strategy, R&D, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of developing successful future-focused initiatives
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking abilities
- Strong presentation skills with executive-level communication experience
- Published research or patents in innovation/futurism fields
- Experience with scenario planning tools and foresight methodologies
