Responsibilities
- Analyze horizon-scanning data (AI, biotech, climate tech, quantum computing) to identify disruptive opportunities through 2030
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for board-level decision-making in volatile markets
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align technical teams on innovation priorities
- Author high-impact trend reports and strategic briefs for executive stakeholders
- Manage relationships with academic institutions and R&D partners
- Architect innovation roadmaps with measurable KPIs and ROI projections
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in trend analysis and scenario planning methodologies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful innovation initiatives scaled to market
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies and their commercial applications
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight (preferred)
