Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies with 2026+ market impact
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives
- Conduct scenario planning for disruptive technologies (quantum, AGI, biotech)
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and industry forums
- Build cross-functional coalitions to drive adoption of emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Expertise in at least two future-tech domains: quantum computing, AI ethics, or climate tech
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial opportunities
- Advanced degree in technology, futures studies, or business strategy
- Published thought leadership in emerging technology trends
- Experience with scenario planning and technology impact assessment frameworks
