Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, biotech, climate tech) to identify disruptive opportunities and threats
- Develop 5-10 year strategic scenarios for board-level decision-making
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints prototyping next-gen solutions
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote speeches at global forums
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight capability framework
- Partner with venture capital teams to identify emerging investment targets
- Quantify future market impacts through predictive modeling and scenario planning
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating future insights into commercial opportunities
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Experience with AI/ML tools for predictive analytics and trend detection
- Exceptional communication skills with executive audiences and diverse stakeholders
- Published author in futurism or innovation strategy (peer-reviewed or industry journals)
- Global perspective with experience across North America, APAC, and EMEA markets
