Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop and publish strategic foresight frameworks including scenario planning and trend analysis reports
- Partner with C-suite executives to integrate future intelligence into corporate strategy and R&D priorities
- Design and facilitate innovation workshops for stakeholders across product, engineering, and marketing teams
- Establish quantitative/qualitative metrics to track emerging technology adoption trajectories
- Represent the company at global futurist conferences and thought leadership forums
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight capability framework
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused technology roles
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Track record of publishing influential thought leadership in futurism or innovation domains
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, Technology Strategy, or related field
- Experience building and scaling internal innovation labs or future-focused teams
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis, causal layered analysis)
