Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends, technological disruptions, and socio-economic shifts to identify opportunities for 2026
- Develop and publish strategic foresight frameworks and scenario planning documents
- Lead innovation workshops with executive teams to translate foresight into actionable business strategies
- Build and maintain a network of industry experts, academics, and thought leaders
- Present findings to stakeholders through compelling narratives and data visualizations
- Oversee implementation of emerging technology pilots and innovation initiatives
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate a culture of strategic foresight across the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Strategic Foresight, Technology Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futures research
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning
- Exceptional communication skills with experience presenting to C-level executives
- Strong background in at least two emerging domains: AI ethics, quantum computing, biotechnology, or climate resilience
- Publication record in foresight journals or industry thought leadership platforms
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from the Association of Professional Futurists)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful translation of foresight into business impact
