Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech trends, sociocultural shifts, and economic indicators to forecast disruptive innovations through 2026
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models for C-suite decision-making
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating futuristic solutions (AI, quantum computing, bio-tech)
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-ready technologies into commercial roadmaps
- Present visionary insights to investors, board members, and industry thought leaders
- Establish NextGen Labs as a thought leader through white papers, keynote presentations, and trend reports
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech leadership
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-focused business strategies
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex future scenarios to diverse audiences
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, Business Strategy, or related field
- Experience with innovation frameworks (e.g., STEEP, Delphi method, backcasting)
