Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends in technology, demographics, and economics to forecast developments through 2026
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for emerging technologies (quantum computing, neural interfaces, climate tech)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into actionable product roadmaps
- Author thought leadership reports on societal transformation and ethical implications of emerging tech
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype solutions for 2026-era challenges
- Build and maintain a network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, Strategic Foresight, or related field
- 7+ years in strategic analysis, trend forecasting, or innovation consulting
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, renewable energy)
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills for complex concepts
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and trend analysis software
- Published work on future trends or technology impact assessment
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-strategy implementation
