Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 scenario-planning frameworks using quantitative data, qualitative research, and predictive modeling
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify emerging threats and opportunities across 15+ industries
- Produce high-impact trend briefs and white papers for executive leadership and board members
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D centers to pioneer future-focused initiatives
- Design and implement horizon-scanning methodologies using AI-powered trend analysis platforms
- Present strategic recommendations to stakeholders with compelling visual storytelling frameworks
- Mentor junior futurists and build a world-class foresight capability within the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven track record of developing and implementing 5+ year strategic roadmaps
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and disruption modeling methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from foresight organizations preferred)
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or successful strategic implementations
