Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026 business landscapes
- Develop and present strategic foresight frameworks to executive stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Design scenario-planning models for 3-5 year strategic windows with quantitative impact assessments
- Partner with R&D to translate foresight insights into innovation pipelines and product roadmaps
- Establish and maintain expert networks across academia, government, and industry thought leaders
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations on future-focused strategies
- Quantify market opportunities through predictive analytics and competitive intelligence systems
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futures research
- Proven track record of developing and implementing 5+ year strategic foresight frameworks
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systemic modeling methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal implications
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with ability to translate complex insights into executive action
- Published thought leadership in reputable futurism or strategy publications
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFM, APF) highly desirable
