Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology foresight strategy with quarterly horizon scanning reports
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities in quantum computing and biotech
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Create predictive models for societal impacts of emerging technologies (AR/VR, nanotech, synthetic biology)
- Present findings to C-suite executives and board members with data-driven scenario planning
- Mentor junior futurists in trend analysis and strategic foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, technology innovation, or future studies
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into commercial applications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Expertise in scenario planning methodologies and horizon scanning frameworks
- Published research on emerging technologies' societal impacts (peer-reviewed journals)
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and AI trend analysis platforms
- Clearance for government-level innovation projects (or ability to obtain)
